İDO sails to Armutlu from Kadıköy and Yenikapı every day of the week. The Armutlu Municipality gives journey times of about 2 to 2.5 hours, while İDO's line information gives about 75 minutes from Yenikapı to Armutlu. The difference depends on which piers a sailing calls at. BUDO's Eminönü–Armutlu–Mudanya line calls at the İhlas Armutlu Tatil Köyü pier in Armutlu.
By car: the Osman Gazi Bridge or a ferry, then the new Yalova–Armutlu road
From the European side, the İDO fast car ferry from Yenikapı to Yalova takes about 70–75 minutes; from the Asian side, Pendik–Yalova takes about 45 minutes. By road, the Osman Gazi Bridge on the O-5 motorway crosses the Gulf of İzmit and links Gebze with Yalova. From Yalova, take the 45 km Yalova–Armutlu road, opened on 24 July 2026. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure says the road, which has 6 tunnels, cut Yalova–Armutlu travel time from 60 to about 30 minutes.
From Bursa
From Bursa, sea buses run to Armutlu from Mudanya (BUDO) and Güzelyalı (İDO). You can also drive via Gemlik.
